Dr Ester Mpandi Khosa is a retired Academician from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga Australia, and the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia, where she lectured in Food Microbiology, Nutrition, Food Science and Biotechnology. Prior to this she lectured at the University of Zimbabwe, and was at some earlier stage, a Research Scientist and Director of the Biotechnology Research Institute at the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC), in Zimbabwe.

Currently, Dr Ester Khosa is the Director of Breakthrough Consultant (Pvt) Ltd in Zimbabwe, whose mandate is Nutrition Education and Wellness. She is a Registered Nutritionist with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Zimbabwe and a member of the Nutrition Society of Australia. She is an appointed Commissioner with the Competition and Tariff Commission of Zimbabwe.
